A Clear Workmanship Warranty for Your Deck Project
Learn about the one year workmanship warranty for qualifying Javi’s Decks projects and how to contact us about work completed under your agreement.
Know who to contact after the project is complete.
Javi’s Decks provides a one year workmanship warranty for qualifying projects. Your written project agreement explains the coverage that applies to your work. Keep that agreement with your project information so the scope and the terms are easy to refer to later.
Separate installation workmanship from the product warranty.
A decking or railing manufacturer may provide a separate warranty for its product. That coverage follows the specific product and the manufacturer’s terms. It is different from the workmanship commitment made by Javi’s Decks. A long product warranty should not be read as a promise that every part of the deck or every future repair is covered for the same period.
Start with the concern and the project information.
If you have a concern about work completed by Javi’s Decks, contact us with the project location, a description of the issue and photographs if they can be taken safely. We will review the information and explain the next step. You do not need to determine the cause before contacting us.
Keep the written scope available.
The agreement records the work that was included and the conditions for that project. It helps distinguish a concern about completed work from a request to add a new feature or change an existing part of the deck. Any new work should have a clear scope of its own.
